0 Response to 'Our morning started at one of the most legendary coffee places I can think of, Bear Pond Espresso. We arrived half an hour before opening, so we wandered around the amazing little area of Shimokitazawa! Headed back to Bear Pond and even after 10 minutes of opening the cafe, it was already packed! Katsu handled all of the orders carefully and precise, and we were ask to wait to get out drinks whenever there was a table ready. According to him, the only place to drink the espresso is while seated at the table and not at the take-away bench. You have to enjoy this 'angel stain' to the fullest. The coffees were truly great and and enjoyed the good vibes and music for a long time.
